Problem Importing a template 'Layout'

Hey Gents.

I'm having difficulties every now and then importing a template 'Layout'  'first image'

Most of the time it's fine, and imports no worries as in the 'second image'

Any ideas why they are different, I have check Page Setup Manager, and I can't identify any differences.

I'm using the Design Manager to Import the Layout (in both instances).

Cheers,

Thanks in advance.

                    The actual 'page' you can see in the bottom left corner, the 'block' has been scaled like 20-fold, Wierd!?!

Is it 25.6 times perhaps?

An Imperial to Metric switch?

Do you do Imperial and Metric drawings on the same machine?

Thanks Charles.

I checked and it is 25.4 times bigger.

So I have checked the UNITS and MEASUREINIT but all seems to be fine.
Or is there something else that I should be checking?

My work around at the moment is just copy and pasting the block which works fine, although it is nice to have the perks working for you.

Cheers for the tip!

oh sorry, No I only am doing metric drawings. At least I hope all my drawings are metric.

There are a couple other items tied to Metric and I wonder if you have an Imperial setting in there.

I'm just not sure what these are.

MEASUREINIT = 1

MEASUREMENT = 1

How 'bout INSUNITS? Set to 4?

And scroll down the side bar in the Exchange window for INSUNITSDEFSOURCE and INSUNITSDEFTARGET.

No reason, just something to read.

Cheers Charles Smiley Happy

MEASUREINIT = 1

MEASUREMENT = 1

INSUNITS = 4

INSUNITSDEFSOURCE = 4 (millimeters)

INSUNITSDEFTARGET = 4 (millimeters)

So still no reason identified as being the problem.

I have also check the drawing in which I drew the block and layout. Can't find anything there either.

Thanks heaps for your advice.

I recently (in the last three months) had a Dynamic Block that just inserted at a much larger scale when inserted into a drawing.

Drawn at 1:1 with nothing special going on, no changes in units or scales or annotation. (I've basically been drawing with the same template and parameters for the last 7 years or so.)

I eventually just deleted it and recreated.

Never could figure out what was going on.

Might be something similar.

Thanks Charles.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. Very strange isn't it.

Thanks for you help!
