Printing to a PDF creator, like CutePDF

When I go to print to a pdf creator, I get the entire file location, including what layout, in the save as file name line:

S__AutoCAD_Drawings_Cabinet Drawings 625 and 1375_20104-02 Layout1 (1).pdf

What I would really like is just the file name, 20104-02.pdf, in this case to show on the file name so I don't have to delete a bunch of characters all the time.  I had this on my old PC, can't seem to remember how to do this on the new one.

Thanks for your help.

 I have included a picture.

What version of LT are you using? The newer ones can PUBLISH to PDF. And they will only have the file name in the saveas box

There are serveral methords to create PDF file in AutoCAD LT.

1, Export > PDF,

The created pdf file name is same as dwg file name.

2, Print > Plot > DWG to PDF.pc3

The created pdf file name is <dwg file name>-Model/<Layout>.pdf

Methord 1 could match your requirement.

Honestly? The ExportPDF command is nice but then I have to change the
folder all the time.

DWG to PDF.pc3: As I said, I would have to change a bunch of files,
PITA. Previous versions didn't have this issue.

As I have already asked. Which version of LT are you using?

1. The newer ones when you choose publish there is a option called PUBLISH TO and the options are

Plotter named in pagesetup

dwf

dwfx

PDF.

2. In the same dialog box there is a PUBLISH OPTIONS.

One of the options is DEFAULT OUTPUT LOCATION (PLOT TO FILE).

You can change that to any directory you want.

If you didn't understand the first reply to your post then ask: ignoring good advise is not the way to solve a problem.

The version is LT 2015.

You are correct, and I have been rude and I apologize. I have re-read
the thread and noticed the default output that I can change.

I appreciate your keeping up on the thread.

Okay, that is actually pretty slick. I like how I will be able print
multiple open files at once.

Thanks for your help.
