Precision Error

I have a peculiar problem in AutoCAD LT 2002.
In my drawings, pitch between the holes is 25.465 in both the cases. But when I change the precision of these to 2 decimal places, left side it shows 25.46 and on right side 25.47
I am compelled to change the dimensions manually before giving it to the shop floor.
Can anybody suggest some solution?
Service packs have already been updated.

Thanks in advance

This is not an uncommon problem.

Rather than change the precision to 2 decimals, have you tried applying
a rounding override of .01?

Thanks Ian
It works. But is it a BUG that at two places two different values are displayed even though with 3 decimal places the values are same?

Try changing the Precision to the maximum that you can the 16th decimal palce (or something similar) may explain why this is happening.

I don't now if it is a bug as such as I do not know what rule is being
used in AutoCAD. I have had this happen with two identical dimensions.
I have even had it happen when dimensioning an object. Rather than
dimension both ends, I have mirrored it over and then reassociated it
only to find the value round up rather than down.
