PLT default file location

in autocad 2002, I used to be able to direct the PLT file automatically to the same folder in which the DWG resides, by "never specifying" a location (or deleting that entry from the registry).
now I use LT2008 - and it seems that this option (saving PLT files at the DWG location is gone)
I tried deleting the entry from the registry - but it goes back to a "my documents" default.

is this an LT issues?
what am I missing?

in 2002 - once you clean the registry (or if I never specified a location) the default is the same folder as the DWG

does not seem to behave that way in LT2008

you mean that I should set it to "0" - and the 2008 will behave like 2000?
I would definitely give it a try!

thanks

No, it's not stored in the registry any more. Once I pick a folder, though,
it stays there for the whole session. Resets to the value in Options-->Plot
and Publish after restarting AutoCAD.

so the option that we had in 2002 - to have the PLT automatically created in the same folder as the DWG - is no longer available?

that's too bad....
