plot manager is not runing

Hello,

I try to add the dwg to pdf.pc3 file to my AutoCAD LT 2014 (german)
When I click on manage plotter a File Explorer Windows pops up instead of the plotter manager.

Any clue what is wrong here?

PLOTTERMANAGER command launches WIndows Explorer at the folder where everything you need is contained: you must now launch the separate application call ADD-A-PLOTTER WIZARD to continue adding/creating a PC3 file (forgive me, I don't know what that is called in the German version).

sorry for posting here, problem solved in the AutoCAD LT Group

That is working as designed. It opens Windows Explorer to your configured "Printer Configuration Search Path"

In that location there should be a shortcut to the "Add-A-Plotter Wizard".

If not, you can manually run this program. It's named addplwiz.exe and found in the AutoCAD program directory (typically C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 20xx)

thanks, I was not aware about these facts, comming from AutoCAD 2000 😉
