Some people seem to have this work properly, but it hasn't for me, at least
through ACAD 2006 LT.
I haven't tried it in 2008 yet.
But this is from a post I made earlier, on how I got it to work.
********************
I just experimented, and found out something useful.
When I want to paste a pdf into a dwg, if I just copy the file, or use
InsertObj, I just get an Adobe Acrobat icon. Not terribly useful.
But, in Adobe Acrobat, there is a "Snapshot Tool" button. I click that,
select the area I want to copy with the mouse, and it puts that screenshot
into the clipboard. Now you can Ctr+V into ACAD LT.
Problem is, it's a screenshot, and not terribly high resolution.
Here's what I found out.
Go through the process above, copy the screenshot onto the clipboard.
Before doing anything else, you will see that your selection area is still
marked with a dotted line.
Now . . . using the toolbar in Acrobat, zoom the sheet much larger.
Now go to Edit>Copy. Copy should be an available choice. Click it. It will
copy your entire previous selection area onto the clipboard, even though
it's larger than your screen.
Now past into ACAD and you have a much higher resolution image to paste.

And to add a little to this, sometimes when I would go to too high a zoom in
Acrobat, the process would puke. If that happens, just reduce the zoom.

If anyone can help me that would be great. When I insert an Adobe PDF into
ACAD LT 2005 using "Insert OLE" it appears as an Adobe Icon only. All other
file types (Excel, Word, BMP etc.) all appear and link as they are supposed
to but the Adobe one does not. I have not checked the appear as icon box so
I am therefore at a loss as to why this is happening. Is anyone able to
provide a solution to this problem?
