opening lt98 drawings in lt2015

When I open drawing files created or edited in LT98 the screen displays (and plots as well) many lines not on the original.  They possibly are extension lines or connect objects, however, I cannot select them to simply delete them.  When I do select the drawing  by lasso I am prompted to "Edit nonassociative hatch boundary grips"  The lines don't really appear to be part of any hatching though.

I appreciate any insight.

Thanks

Welcome to the Forums

I had a similar sort of problem before. I opened up some drawings in LT2012 which were created in LT2008 and I kept on seeing a red or white block (which I could never see in LT2008)

It turned out this was a hatch pattern which was a single point (so to speak).

What I suggest you do is either

select all hatch objects in the drawing and delete them or

post the drawing here so we can have a look at it.

Thanks for the reply,

I ended up working around the problem by turning off the graphics accelerator.  If it is a recurring problem I will try your suggestion to clean up the original drawing.

Thanks again.
