Opening AutoCAD LT 2005 files with AutoCAD LT 2011

Hello all,

 

A quick (and hopefully simple) question, many apologies if I happen to be a dunce and didn't find the answer in some other obvious place! My client is upgrading to AutoCAD LT 2011; will she be able to open her existing AutoCAD LT 2005 files without an issue? I anticipate this to be the case but she wants a definitive answer before purchasing the software.

Yes, you are correct, there are no issues moving up to the newer version.
