Only want to print image names

I have a drawing with loads of images on it.

All I want to do is print the image name so instead of a picture showing it should say "banana.jpg" or whatever the image name is.

I've tried unloading the images and plotting, but nothing happens

Any suggestions?

Are you trying to get back to that white box with the name in it that everyone complains about when the image does not paste correctly?

Yeah that's the thing I want.

In my drawing I have a load of descrptions under these images, and the secretary needs to know what description goes with what image, so it's easier just to print the drawings with only the image name showing

Short of loading LT 2002 I'm not sure how. Smiley Very Happy

What version are you on?

2013 is easy and does allow you to turn off the image but does not show the image name when doing so.

FIELD to add the name to the drawing near or above the image, on a layer you can toggle on/off/freeze/thaw for your secretary to use.
FIELD>OBJECT>PATH...

I've sorted it now.

What I did was save the drawing to my machine and load it up. Some of the images were showing file names and others weren't.

I looked at the files and some had the path saved and others didn't

Quick internet hunt and a suggestion from you Dean to another user a while ago helped.

I deleted the path names so only the file name stayed then saved the drawing to my machine and voila all images now show filenames.
