OLE object (Excel sheet) to report ?

after i insert an excel sheet into a drawing and fill it with the relevant data, can i somehow export that into another excel sheet as a report ? in other words, is there a way to link what i type into an ole object into an independent MS Excel sheet ? of course i'm looking for a streamlined method to do this, so the data entry is only done once. thanks!

"insert an excel sheet" how exactly did you do this?

"insert" as in ole object..

however, i found a way around it (or a reverse way around it).

i use a "chart" which is data-linked to a specific excel sheet.

i enter the data into 'that' excel sheet and update the chart in acad.

that way i get my excel reports, and autocad drawing done with one data-entry menouver.

cheers!
