new style of quotation...

Hello,
Any time I open a file, AutoCAD create a modification of the default 's style of quotation. The changes are:
- line of attach in fixed dimension is check
- the dimension of this line is 2
It happens with any style of quotation and only on my PC (for same file).
I'm the only one with AutoCAD 2007 LT in the office. Is it the reason?

Thanks

JR.

Forgive me, but I've been reading and re-reading your post all day
today and I am at a loss: what's a quotation? and what does it do in
dimensioning exactly?

I'm sorry....
I try again:
Everytime I open a file, AutoCAD creates a modification of the default 's style of dimensions. The changes are:
- the option "line of attach in fixed dimensions style" is marked
- the lenght of this line is default 2cm
It happens with any style of dimension and only on my PC (for same file).
I'm the only one with AutoCAD 2007 LT in the office. Is it the reason?
(if you want i can post a file)
Thanks

JR.

I found the exact word:
the dimension components which changes is the "extention line" . the option "estention line fixed" is marked and the lenght is 2.
Thank you very much for your patience.

I *think* something is creating a dimstyle override and its changing his extension line length to 2 units.
Never heard of that one though. Any ideas?
