The AutoCAD variable is SDI. Type SDI on the AutoCAD command line and set it to 0.

When I have two or more drawings open, the program becomes unstable and the lower right hand corners keep flashing? It only does that when I have more the one drawing open. I am running LT 2014. Please help.

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums!

Proxy Objects in two open drawing files may be the issue.

The link is to a Thread on the subject:
