multiline text editor - fuzzy text

Using 2002 Lt and XP professional edition.

when using the multiline text editor, the text in the dialog box is fuzzy and blurry. Any ideas on fixing this issue? Once out of the editor, the text is fine on the screen/drawing.

(happened using 2000 Lt with XP as well)

Windows Control Panel>Display, find and uncheck the box for
Smooth Windows screen fonts.
