Move or copy selection

Many times when I use the move or copy command and window a selection there is a lot of text and sometimes lines that do not get selected inside the window. I have to cancel, and select all and then move everything and then undo and after that I can move or copy what I wanted to in the first place, but that does not last very long. I may have to do this several times while working on a drawing. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Try zooming out so that everything is well on the screen, including any
unused width of mtext, then try the move or copy command. I have found that
the window only get what is visible on the screen so that if you pick
something then pan to where it is off the screen, AutoCAD loses the picked
object.
