What are you comfortable using: a plain mouse, or 5-button mouse? are your
fingers nimble enough for a trackball? Thumb or index or front or side
trackball? Have you explored using a tablet with a pen?
I would recommend you visit your local Best Buy/CompUSA store and try before
you buy on some of these. You need to find what is comfortable for you
first, then explore how to make that more efficient. Right clicking, one
hand on the mouse one hand on the keyboard, with focused and planned quick
keys on the keyboard and switchable conveniently located toolbars is the
only truly efficient way to work.
I find trackballs (thumb turning variety) best for me, but 95% of other
people cannot function that way at all.
