Missing arrowheads

When I open a drawing, the arrowheads on the dimensions are missing. If I modify, move, update that dim. the arrowhead comes back. Does anyone have an explanation.

You must have LT2000!, I suffer from the same prob, I have found that REGEN fixes the prob for the short term. I assume that this is a short fall in the software.
Has this been fixed in LT2000i?? (last comment to users of i)

No it is not a short fall and not a bug. Autocad displays
objects so you can move faster within the drawing editor. When you see no arrow
heads you will also notice that circles and arcs and such are not smooth. If the
command viewres is in LT then raise the value. In older versions of autocad and
older operating systems it was used to speed up redraws and regens.

If the arrowheads are disappearing and a regen brings them back I would
suggest checking the date of the video drivers on the system. The
problem you are seeing usually occours when the drivers need to be
updated.
