Microsoft Word and mtext

I tried to import a microsoft word document into the mtext editor and of course it did not work. Has any one ever done this before? It seems like more and more of our jobs we do have specifications right on the dwg and all our specs are in Word. If anyone has an easier way for me to put word documents into dwgs please let me know.

Copy/paste has always, and still does work, between Word and an open
Mtext Window.
And INSERTOBJ works as always. So does PasteSpec.

Now, what does not work are WORD features not found in AutoCAD: it's
not a word processor program, never has been.

What is the "import text command for that is in the mtext edit box?. One other thing, I know in full version you can attach an image like you attach an external reference. Is there a way to attach images like that in LT. What at I am trying to say is can i reference (say a Word document) into a dwg so that i could edit the document/ image out side the dwg and have it automatically get updated on a dwg, like an external reference?

That's to TXT and RTF files: tap the HELP button and
explore.

Import Text is computer lingo for basic ascii format text
(see Windows Notepad), it does not mean MSWord... .

INSERTOBJ or PASTESPEC in LT for pasting graphics/ole
images.

Is there some way to get multiple-paged Microsoft Word documents to display multiple pages? Every time I try to insertobj (linked) a word file only the first page shows up.
