During what process?
Same in all files, or just one or a few?
Recent phenomenon, or have you lived with this forever?

This a new problem. It occurred last Friday and again on Tuesday. Out of office on Monday.
It occurred yesterday while trying to copy an object. Not sure of procedure last week. Occurred in two different files.

You will have to narrow down the occurrence process to better identify the
problem.
Also find out what changed since last Friday, either on your machine or
network, no matter how 'mundane' it may appear.

We are having similar problems. Not sure what is coausing it but short of running Autocad 2002LT from the box on a clean machine, we think it is autocad connecting to the internet every 10 15 mins sometimes less and it is completely hidden. (not shown in taskmanager) Point a is off and every internet related function to 2002LT is off (I think) and it still does it!!!!

HELP!

AutoCAD is in constant communications with the folder the DWG file is in:
nature of the program. If your network is timing out or denying access,
AutoCAD will crash.
