LT2000i File Compatability

Can anyone tell me if LT 2000i can read files created with Autocad 2000i,
plus Mechanical Desktop ? If so, which versions of Mechanical Desktop can
it read ?

With LT2002 be able to read and/or write to a wider variety of files than
LT2000i ?

Thanks,

Alan McLennan

LT2002 is scheduled to be Object Enabler 'updateable', unlike LT2000i which
has a built in Object Enabler that should be able to read 2000/2000i Objects
created with vertical versions of AutoCAD of the same time period.

AutoCAD LT 2000i can indeed use object enablers, but there is no object
enablers for MDT objects due to their dependence on a higher ACIS version
than that included in AutoCAD. AutoCAD LT 2000i uses the exact same drawing
format as AutoCAD 2000i.
