leader arrows

Is it possible to set the leader arrow size different from the dimension arrow size and where? I have looked through the forums for previous. I don't see it in qleader / settings.

You can set DIMASZ to the size you want then use
_-DIMSTYLE;_APPLY (Update in Dimension menu)
and select the leaders to affect...or make a
custom arrowhead Block the size you like then use...
-
QLEADER/Settings/Leader Line & Arrows/Arrowhead/
User Arrow/Select Custom Arrow Block
-
which will globally default to that.

I should mention, if you use the DIMASZ method
you will have to reset to the default if you
want to create subsequent arrows at a normal
size. You can also use the PROPERTIES tool to
change 'selection set' arrowhead sizes/properties.

Differently sizing the leader arrows comes under the category of fine tuning and I'm not sure the fine tuning warrants selecting every arrow to achieve. Maybe after a late night cup of coffee it will seem indispensible. Thank you for the lesson, however, I've gone into uncharted territory. DIMASZ, etc.

why not create an alternative DimStyle, with a larger arrow.

Thank you for the suggestion robert-colin.

Am I correct, if I wished to do the different DimStyle method, every time I wanted to switch, for example, from writing notes with leaders to dimensioning, I would need to switch Dimstyles? Not a problem, just want to be sure I understand.

yup, thats it. you have to remember to switch. what i tend to do is do one set of dims, then change to the other dim style and carry on with the second. also tend to set one at a differnt colour so i can keep track a bit easier.
