Issues with Autocad LT Being slow on Commands

Has anyone had any issues with Autocad taking a minute or so when you run certain simple commands from the command line. We have tried reinstalling and this has not seemed to fix the issue. Anyone with any knowledge on this that could help would be great

is this a new problem? Or an old one that finally got to you?
What else is new/different since the problem appeared?
Windows version?
If you unplug from your network/Internet, does the slowness go away?

We have those intermittently, often related to high levels of network traffic. Does it settle down after you have been in the office for an hour or so, or is it all the time ? With us that was the antivirus software being intense for a long while after startup, and tripping up windows resources that AutoCAD needed to function, especially the keyboard, where typed keys would get missed and typed commands would fail, and text would turn to gobbledygook.
