IF THIS IS POSSIBLE THEN HOW DO YOU DO IT. IF THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE IS
THERE A WAY TO GET AROUND INSERTING A PDF FILE INTO A DRAWING? IS THERE
A WAY TO CONVERT THE PDF FILE INTO SOMETHING ELSE THAT I CAN INSERT IN
AND STILL KEEP ALL OF THE DATA SKETCHES, DETAILS, AND TEXT?

unfortunately I dont thikn there is a way to insert a PDF file into a
drawing. The point of a PDF file is so others can look but not copy what is
in the document.

PDF to DWG:
PDF -> Adobe Illustrator -> DWG/DXF -> AutoCAD
PDF -> GhostScript + GSView -> DXF -> AutoCAD
PDF -> Adobe Acrobat -> Copy/Paste -> AutoCAD

Results are not perfect, or acceptable really, but if you have no choice....
