OK. Found the answer, plus some improvements, thanks to Stef Yoder and Paul
Turvill

You're welcome, Dave; but I gotta admit I don't even remember
participating in this thread ... full credit to Stef on this one. 8-))

Sorry Paul, it was the 'User Variables' thread, which was all tied in with
the same query. But you deserve a credit for all the postings anyway.

I'd love to, but the company I work for has decided to include this,
possibly with some other utilities, and sell it for a minimal amount, so I
cannot really post it. Sorry.

On further discussion with our sales team, they agreed that the NG is for
everyones benefit, and I received help from the NG that allowed me to
complete this anyway, so here goes. The following should be added to a
button :-

*^C^Ctext;j;$M=$(getenv,CADS_TI_Just);\;;$M=$(getenv,CADS_TI_Start);setenv;C
ADS_TI_Start;$M=$(+,$(getenv,CADS_TI_Start),$(getenv,CADS_TI_Val))

The variables need to be set using the setenv command. I included the
justification as AutoCad reverts to bottom left, which is a real pain.
