The online license transfer utility asks you to run it from the old machine to export the license, and then run it on the new machine to import.
My old machine does not run so I cannot run the transfer utility from the old machine. I did a chat with tech support and they told me to run the transfer utility... which I cannot do...see above.
Any ideas.
Hace you just tried to install the AutoCAD Seat on the new system and authorize it?
You are allowed to do this several times for just the reason the you state.
If this hangs there is typically an email generated so that you can alert Autodesk as to the issue.
Otherwise:
You may need to contact a re-seller in your area or get back to Autodesk Tech Support and be more persuasive.
