At work now I am using AutoCAD Lite 2000 now.
When I draw a Line, the thicckness comes right like in "0" thickness.
But when I draw a PLine, the thickness comes thicker, and even thought I can change it to "0" in the Properties dialog, I wonder how to change the Default so the Pline is also "0". How to do that, and where is the setting?
Thanks in advance.
Start a pline command, on the command line select w for width, set it to 0 (zero) and complete the line and then erase it.
From then on all your plines will have a 0 width.
Do this in your template if it is the way you typically use plines..

Thansk, drjohn.
Has there been an update to AutoCAD Lite that will allow the program to do such things as XClipping of Xrefs and maybe also add the Express Tools?
2000 is rather old so I am not sure about xrefs or xclipping in 2000.
No chance for express tools even through ACAD 2011.

But there are a bunch of former Express Tools now in the core product -- all the layer management tools, OVERKILL, and NCOPY.
And yes, you can clip external references (all kinds) in AutoCAD LT 2012. Just one of the looooong list of features added or improved in the last 12 years or so. 🙂
In addition to the above info...
PLINEWID variable, it's a per-drawing setting, use it once per drawing and it stays unless you change it here or elsewhere: so add that variable and the setting you always want to use to the beginning of your button that you press to start Pline and get that setting all the time.
