Hatch or Wipeout

Hi

I'm going to try to explain this.
I'd like to wipe-out / hatch the background of our section marker so that all underlying objects are invisible.
Only the section marker and the text inside the section marker must be visible.
The section marker is a dynamic block with a few attributes.
Can one hatch with the background color like with text mask?
What will be the best solution?

Regards

If you have a later LT version, there is a command built in called WIPEOUT
that does what you seek.

Thanks,
I'm using AC2008LT.
I've used wipeout and it works fine.
The only problem I have is keeping the wipeout at the back.
In the Block editor I've sent the wipeout / raster image to the back.
When I try to insert the block from Design Centre, the wipeout is not at the back any more.
When using Toolpalettes, it's at the back again.
Any suggestions?

You can switch to a hatch, instead of a wipeout: the hatch needs to be set
to a pen in your plot style table that prints "nothing" to get the same
effect. Hatches behave and respect draworder settings best in blocks.

How do I set a pen in the plot style table to print "nothing"?
I've changed the color of the hatch-pen to white (255), but it still prints out the hatch.
It looks like dots which is just very faint.
Any other suggestions?

pen255 be default is till a 'color'.Setup your CTB or STB so that color
pen255 plots with virtual pen 255 and screening settings of 0.

Set your hatch color to 255,255,255 under the True Colors tab in the hatch dialogue if you're trying to match white paper.
