Hello

Welcome to the Autodesk/AutoCAD Forums !

I appreciate your question/topic which is very verbose !?

Q1) Which Windows exactly : Win Seven 32 or 64 bits ?

Q2) ACAD LT 2010 with which SP/Update ?

Q3) Have you installed the SP 2 for ACAD LT 2010 ?

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-lt/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-lt-2010-up...

Q4) Have you the problem : Always or only with ONE or a Few DWGs ?

If problem with ONE or a Few DWGs, please could you open them in RECOVER Mode and then Resave them and then ReTest ...

Q5) Are you running your ACAD LT 2010 as Local Admin ?

Hello

I don't like this Info >>>

Q4) Have you the problem : Always or only with ONE or a Few DWGs ?

[JMc] Problem just started yesterday - occurs on startup - even when opening Autocad LT without opening a specific drawing

<<<

I imagine that you have "Automatic Windows Update" ON ?

Can you restore your Win Seven to a date before "yesterday" ??

I imagine that you have "Automatic Windows Update" ON ? [JMc] Yes, it was
"on" but many window updates are failing to install - changed to "download
updates and notify"

Can you restore your Win Seven to a date before "yesterday" ?? [JMc] Tried
restoring computer to 2 days ago - still experiencing same problem with
Autocad opening up

Hello

So you have a Restore Point "2 days ago" so maybe you have install something 2 days ago !?

If YES, which software ?

[JMc]

I tried restoring back a week, and this time Autocad opened, but had an
error message "does not support JIT debugging"

However Autocad works, but now I'm afraid to close it

Anyone know of a solution to this ?
