Export Attributes to txt

I've been fighting with the attribute exporter for several hours and can't get anything to generate except for a blank txt file.  Below is an example of my template

BL:NAME C008000
DESCRIPTION C016000

I would eventually like to export several more attributes that my blocks have but I figure I should simplify it as much as possible for now.  I do have a blank like at the end of the text script.

I've also attached my block that has the attributes I'm attempting to extract.

BL:NAME is a placeholder in the Help file. This is a difficult to decipher bit of Help file by the way.

You want to extract Attribute Information.

First you need a block.

The Attrib you have assigned has a Tag named X

These is no Attrib in the attached drawing with a Tag named Description

See attached.

This dwg has a block with three unique attribs

The txt file looks for these Attrib Tags and are looking for Characters , hence the C

Run ATTEXT from within CAD and follow the prompts and questions.

The outp[ut file Drawing2.txt is attached.

This is all very basic to what you can achieve.
