Not everything is explodable: points and lines are among them.
What is it are you actually wishing to accomplish?

No you cannot explode points, as that's all they are a single point.

If you're worried about how it looks on the screen type in pdmode and change the setting to 0, which will be just that a single point.

Type in Point in help and you can see what the separate values of PDMODE do.

Hello

I've recived a bolt plan, in wich the bolts are marked as points. Not all the bolts are the same size.

I was trying to change the points to circles of say  20mm and explode them, then to change the remaining circles to 30 and so on.

Now i'll have to take each one at a time.

Thank's for the replys.

You can change the appearance of the points wih ddptype commans. Set the size in units, not relative to screen.

.., but they still are POINT objects, not bolts. So you can't snap of select edges of these shapes. The excellent tip above is a display option and changes nothing about the POINT object.

My bad, I failed to understand properly the issue. As an excuse - I'm not native English speaker and do not work in English-speaking environment.

I would in this case create blocks of the different bolt sizes and insert them snapping to NODE - unfortunately one by one. Then, send the points to frozen layer.

Such a simple question and such a long debate 🙂

Thank you for your replyes.

For what i need right now i'll just asign a diferent colour to diferite size of bolts.
