I also get this exception, and then my AutoCAD crashes. I"m using AutoCAD LT 2007. I receive the exception notice whenever I try to use the layers management tool. This happens on any file I open, even if I open a very old one or a brand new one.
I'd greatly appreciate any help anyone has.

If so have you tried a System Restore?

Does anyone know if this site is legit:

And thanks for your help so far. Got a suggestion for which registry cleaner to use? And does this site give correct steps for a system restore?

Actually I was wondering if you had run a Registry Cleaner as this can cause such a problem.
I use Ccleaner myself.
