Editing

I copied an object consisting of several lines from my drawing A and then pasted it into my existing drawing B that contained another object and a title block. I was not able to edit the pasted object. Can I edit this pasted object so that I can delete a line from it? If so, how would I do this?

I was also not able to edit the text block on drawing B after I had pasted in the object. How can I edit the text block?

Did you paste as a block? Then explode it first. Did you paste in Modelspace, but trying to grab it through a viewport? double-click inside the viewport first. Also check all layers, ALL LAYERS, make sure they are ALL thawed/on/unlocked and see if that helps: it may be a critical layer is needed. -- Dean Saadallah Add-on products for LT http://www.pendean.com/lt --
