drawing will not appear

We just got AutoCADLT14.  I am trying to bring up old AutoCAD 2000 drawings, I can see them in the preview box but not on the screen, I know I am missing a setting that is  really simple.  Help!

Is it a back round color issue....

I tried that...even starting a new drawing you cannot see the lines...so strange

I have re-save your drawing in DWG2004 format ...

There are a lot of Layers Off or Frozen

Please REGENMODE = 1 in this DWG !

Opens just fine here in LT 2014

2013 Format Save attached.

Even if your Background is set to Black; Black color selection for the Layer will show White in Modelspace.

And Black Layer coloer will show Black on a White or similar Modelspace background.

The Preview is nothing more than a screen capture of when the File was last saved. Does not indicate drawing content at all.

And now for the really stupid question: Is this in Modelspace or Paperspace that you are not seeing the drawing?

How about a Screenshot of the plan open on your end?

Any luck solving this?  One thing you might try is type Control+A (to select all) then type "list".  This will tell you how many objects are in that view.  Plus, depending upon your grips preferences, you might see the blue grips of the linework you're having a hard time seeing.
