I know that you will get a more direct answer but you can dowload and try AutoCAD LT 2013 for 30 days free of charge and a 15 day Autodesk 360 Rendering trial is available as well.

Subscription owners get access to rendering with the Subscription I believe otherwise it is an additional fee to use.

This screen shot is form the hoem page and it does not list that LT or 2D objects can be rendered:

Though how do you want to render 2D objects anyway?

You do know LT does not have the ability to generate 3D solids or 3D meshes, right?

I made the mistake of purchasing the Autocad Revit Suite LT 2013.  I was not aware that you can't render with the revit software without some other subscription plus I realized it too late and now they're telling me I'm past the 30 day return.  What good is having revit if you can't render?   Being new to revit, I was so unaware of the limitations.

Find a reseller in your area and plead your case.

It may or may not work.

I'm sorry your research fell short before you purchased your package. Lesson learned type of thing I guess, that's a hard one. Pricing should have been one big huge clue though my friend since you are comparing a $7000 product (REVIT) to a $1200 product (REVIT LT) or a $1500 bundle (REVIT LT with AutoCAD LT).

Good luck.

For others reading this, the comparison document on the Autodesk REVIT LT site is not hidden and never has been:

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/compare/index?siteID=123112&id=20336963

Also recommended, the REVIT LT free 30-day trial (plus the REVIT 30-day trial) are also available and not hidden:

http://usa.autodesk.com/revitlt/trial/

http://usa.autodesk.com/revit/trial/

Asking REVIT users about each in the REVIT forum is best for detailed questions, whether you are buying a bundle with AutoCAD LT or not:

This is what happens when you don't go with a subscription, just sayin'...

(not to mention instant obsolescence)

If by some odd chance my nattering was useful -- that's great, glad to help. But if it actually solved your issue, then please mark my solution as accepted 🙂
