Actually open up the DDIM command, and make sure you are settings
in the various Tabs are saved to your DIMSTYLE and you are not
creating a sub-dimstyle.
QLEADER, although it should respect your tick of choice if set
through DDIM, has it's own settings window. Start the command,
then type S and hit ENTER: a new pop-up appears, and you can set
QLEADER parameters there.
HELP in AutoCAD can explain all the above.
