Crosshair icon

What is this icon below-right of the crosshair?

I have never seen it before. I cannot even tell what it is supposed to be.

Which of the rows of buttons, lower-left of the AutoCAD program window do you have pushed in?

This is what my "lower left" button pallete looks like:

I was messing with Data Link some today. Could it have anything to do with that? I have continued to work and executed many different commands, but the icon remains.

Hello from France

It could be the HyperLink Icon ??

Have you create Hyperlink on some entities ?

If you select the object near the icon, then Right Button, have you some HyperLink options (at the end) in your context Menu ?

Bye, Pat

Try the DATALINKNOTIFY System Variable. Set it to 0. Does the Icon go away?

Though Help does not say that Icon should be there I wonder if Dynamic Input has something to do with it if the Variable is the reason why it is showing.

It's a hyperlink. Your object is linked to a website page or other object. < br/>To see where it's linked to, hold CTRL and click the object. It will open a browser or a software to open the file

If you don't want to see it, type HYPERLINKOPTIONS then enter. Choose no then enter again.

If this post solves your problem, please mark it as solved. It will help others with a similar problem to find a solution.
