Copy Viewport to different layout tab

hi All
Is it possible to copy the settings of a viewport (ie layers freeze in current VP, no plot etc) to a new VP on a new layout tab?

Copy the layout: in the same drawing, right click and pick Move/Copy, check
the Copy box and go. From another drawing, right click, select Template, go
to the drawing file you want to get the layout from (or use ADCENTER
command).
