Converting Generic CADD drawings to AutoCAD LT?

I have a Generic CADD drawing that I would like to convert to be read in AutoCAD LT. Is there a way to do this in AutoCAD, or does the file have to be saved as a dwg file in Generic CADD?

Thanks,
Paul

Thanks,

You need to get AutoConvert to do this. You can try your local
AutoCAD dealer, or failing that try Autodesk themselves.

Autodesk does not distribute AutoConvert any more.
The later versions of Generic CADD was shiped with AutoConvert.
Look for a ACON.EXE or ACONVERT.EXE in the Generic CADD folder.
