Converting DWG to DGN (V7 or V8)

We are using AutoCAD LT 2010 and having problems with converting DWG files to DGN who customer demands in V7.

Is the converting option in ACAD the best tool? What is the difference between V7 and V8 in DGN options?

The convertion is not acceptable in V7, but works fine in V8. The problems is the customer who wants it in V7.

Maybe any convertion tool from V8 to V7? 

Is there any other Autodesk product who convert DWG to DGN better than ACAD LT? Maybe Autodesk MAP?

AutoCAD 2010 has the option to export to either V7 or V8 DGN.

Microstation V8 was released with a new file format, Just like AutoCAD 2007 and 2010.

Your client is using a very old version of Microstation hence their need for V7 files. The DWG files you are trying to convert will need to be very simple to translate to V7 sucessfully. If you have taken advantage of any recent new features in AutoCAD such as annotation scales you are going to have problems
