Convert DWG to DGN problems

I am trying to convert a .dwg file to .dgn. I received a seed file from the client and was successful in converting 5 of the 6 pages with no problems. The last page goes through the motions of a successful export but then when it's viewed by the DGNviewer - there's nothing. I've also tried opening the file in Autocad and there are no entities in the file. I run AutocadLT 2012 and trying to convert to V8 .dgn. Please help.

I've also tried using seed files provided to me at installation - no success

Fix the problem file:

• AUDIT then PURGE
• or
• RECOVER then PURGE
• or both
• you might have to WBLOCK out to creatre a new file.
• You might even have to -EXPORTTOAUTOCAD (or AECTOACAD command) to a lower DWG filr format to remove content that is not convertable.

And you may have to do all the above, in the listed order to finally fix the file. Then try a DGN export.

Microstation can open DWG files.  I'd suggest you give your files to them as DWG and let them convert them.  Microstation knows more about DGN files than AutoCAD does.  There are going to be losses either way.  I'd bet there will be less if MS does the conversion.
