Bolt on compatibility

Hi all, I need a bit of help before I make a costly mistake!

Does anyone know if Autocad LT will accept Autodesk Vehicle Tracking and Line Design Pro?

And am I right in thinking the main difference with LT is that you can't do any 3D work.

Thanks

LT lacks the programming languages that allow add-ons to be fully used as intended inside AutoCAD.

Neither of those software list LT as a supported program BTW:

OP AutoCAD LT will do wireframe 3D, and if you give a closed polyline a thickness you end up with a pseudo-3D hollow shape that appears to be a straight extrusion. LT even has crude shading. You can't create 3D objects such as spheres, nor can you do any decent rendering. LT does open 3D dwg files however, and you can copy in 3D objects from a file created in full AutoCAD.

If by some odd chance my nattering was useful -- that's great, glad to help. But if it actually solved your issue, then please mark my solution as accepted 🙂
