Batt insulation hatch?

Can someone point me to a site where I can buy a quality HATCH pattern for batt insulation (i.e., the S curves as used in architectural details of walls)? (I have AutoCAD LT 2004 but 2005 is in shipping to me now.) TIA, Paul

Most likely you can pick them up for free from most AutoCAD shareware websites. Google it. If you want to buy some hatch patterns, you can try http://www.hatchpatterns.com -- Dean Saadallah Add-on products for LT http://www.pendean.com/lt --

Paul, This is an optimised batt insulation hatch. (You can draw any hatch you like with HatchKit). Cut and paste it into your ACAD.PAT file or put it in a text file BATTS.PAT in your support file path. Hugh, Thanks for your reply! I just yesterday received ACLT 2005 and it took me a minute to find the right PAT file into which to put your hatch. When I did, it seems to be what I am looking for, of course, but I am at a loss to know how to control it so that the snaking S pattern fully fills the rectangle without chopping off a bit at the top of bottom or showing more than one pattern. I am a newbie to ACAD and it looks to me like that might be why a "linetype" might be the way to control this type of "hatch". Or am I missing something obvious? Again thanks for your assistance and I will check out your web site. "Hugh Adamson" wrote in message news:4125591f_2@newsprd01... > Paul, > > This is an optimised batt insulation hatch. we do hatch patterns *much* better than we do linetypes, however you may try this: http://www.cadresource.com/library/fonts.html and look for INSUL.ZIP Google on "autocad linetype insulation" for other leads. HTH Hugh Adamson
