autocat lt 2010 working slowly and freeze

MY COPUTER IS HP Z200 WORKSTATION AND USING WINDOWS 7 64 bit.VIEW CARD NVIDIA QUADRO FX580. RAM 6 GB. CPU INTEL(R)XEON(R) X3430 @ 2.40GHz 2.53GHz. I AM USING AUTOCAD LT 2010. PROBLEMS ARE ; 1)WHEN I'M DRAWING LINE , CIRCLE , ELLIPSE ... THE CROSSHAIR GO ON VERY VERY SLOWLY. 2)AUTOCAD SCREEN HAS LOCKED (OFTEN) PLEASE HELP ME. THANK YOU . KIND REGARDS.

Turn off Windows 7's AERO Theme and use the Windows basic theme: see if that helps.

Then ensure LT2010 is fully patched and updated.
