AutoCAD LT2002 Error message

After almost 10 good use, I get an error message when starting ACLT, A breakpoing has bee reached.  (0x80000003)occured in the application at 0x7c839ac5.  The computer then locks up.  The only recovery that I have found to work, is to reboot.  I tried using the installation CD to A.Repair, B. Reinstall, C Uninstall followed by Install.  None works

To what OS and what changed on the Computer to cause the install to fail?
