Autocad LT viewports

I am a new user to autocad.  HAVING  a problem with the viewport.  I did get it to work on 1 drawing so far.  I draw the window and I can see my property lines from the model space - but everthing else inside the property lines I cant see.  I had a  message that stated No extents in drawing.  Could not set plot area to extents.  I tried the zoom extent thinking it was zoomed to far out but that isnt it. Any info would be appreciated

Thank you

In modelspace, use VIEW command to set a view you want.

Inside the viewport on paperspace, activate the VIEW you just created above.

Now set the viewport scale to what you want and continue.

OP you imply you have objects drawn in modelspace on other layers. Go to paperspace and activate a viewport. Then in your Layer Manager check to see if all of those layers have been frozen somehow -- I don't mean Layer Freeze, I mean Viewport Freeze...

If by some odd chance my nattering was useful -- that's great, glad to help. But if it actually solved your issue, then please mark my solution as accepted 🙂
