AutoCAD LT 2016 error after Windows 8.1 update

After updating Windows 8.1 yesterday I receive the following error message on opening up:

Failed to load URL https://df-prod.autocad360.com/2016/drawingfeed.html with error A connection was reset (corresponding to a TCP RST). (-101).

I would open any drawing but when trying to change Mtext the drawing will just crash and AutoCAD close down.

I then uninstalled autocad360 but now get the following error:

Corrupt pre-install The product failed due to missing files.

You updated from Win8 to Win8.1, correct? If yes, you need to repair/reinstall LT2016 (also ensure you install all the patches and updates necessary).

If not, let us know how you did it all.
