I recently installed trial version of autocadLT 2014 which did load and apparently It worked. For some reason stopped working was advised by autodesk sales to remove and reinstall,then of course I was told can not do that. So I purchased from reseller,whom they are pretty useless. When installing software asks for serial and product key which I type in. Install button on bottom right side never highlights yet green check mark ins highlighted on top left. (not sure what that means) Finally get some from reseller told me to register product which I attemped too. But it asks for activation code which I never get.So I am stll in same boat ecept now I have purchased software that I can not install. Any help would be appreciated

Likely uou need to start from a clean install.
If it has only been a few days or so since this started then try a System Restore back to prior to the first install. This should effectivley remove any Autodesk remnants from your system.

You are also entitled to free installation help form Autodesk and there should be a report generated with an email when the install crashes. Support options: (Up and Ready is your first choice)

You mentioned using a reseller and that they have been less than helpful. Is this an Autodesk authorized reseller or an office supply store from some place like Amazon?
If it is an Autodesk reseller print their name here in bold 20 point lettering. Autodesk needs to know if thier authorized resellers are not doing thier job.

was not able to startat an earlier date. Apparently when my computer was in for service they left restore button disabled. Was able to go into registry editor and remove Autodesk from local machine,but unable to remove from current user. I am able to delete but when I reboot computer its back. Cannot get to support after I put serial # and product key next screen install button does not highlight.

If they would have told me from the beginning they could not help with install. Would not have purchased.Which I will be stopping payment tomorrow if I can not get this resolved.
OP are you on a subscription? If not then you should consider doing so. Investigate the benefits...
So I guess I am still no where with this. Pretty disgussed with this whole fiasco. When I install disk get to where serial number / product key. to next screen where I have the option to install but cannot due to being greyed out. So I can not get an activation code. Any way I can get activation code by phone. It appears that free trial caused all these issues. Other than me formating my computer is there any other way
Just for the heck of it went unto autodesk site and downloaded a free trial of full version of AUTOCAD 2014. How does this work and a buy a license and it doesn't work.
Sorry for long delay in response. Attached is screen shot of how far I get with install. Notice install button does not highlight for me to install. So I cannot get a request code.
As wanted to see if my machine was the problem. So I went onto autodesk site and downloaded trial of full version.To my surprize it downloaded and I was able to open it and view drawings (this was only a test)
Not sure if I need to remove before licensed autocadlt gets on machine.

FYI I also contacted PC Connection where software was purchased from and as I found out they do not offer support,but they also added neither does any other reseller, which at this point I don't care would just like to get this to work.

Thats not entirely correct, and sounds like somebody is covering their posterior. We get a lot of support from our reseller; in fact, when we submit support cases through the Subscription center our reseller takes point during the process. Not all resellers do this, its one of those extra things to look at when shopping around for one.

Though if this is a free dowload from the Autodesk Education Community then AutoCAD LT is not available.
Are you trying to get the Full version of AutoCAD or some other LT variant?
