AutoCAD LT 2014 running slowly

My client has recently installed AutoCAD 2014 LT (x64), however, he's finding that the software is running slowly, despite the fact that he surpasses recommended requirements for AutoCAD LT 2014. Why is this? Hardware Accelleration has been on and turned off, and he notices no difference.

OS: Windows 7 Professional (x64)

HDD: 300 GB Capacity, 220 GB Free

RAM: 8 GB

CPU: Intel Core i5-2400 @ 3.10 GHz

Display Adapter: ATI Radeon HD 5670 (has most current driver)
