Autocad LT 2012 X ref crash issue

Hi

Autocad LT2012 Xref handling question.

This has been reported to me as an issue on two pojects recently.

When accessing the x-ref panel AND another user has one of those referenced drawings open (accessed from a shared server) AutoCAD hangs ( is 'not-responding'). This can end in  either a) a resolution after around 10 minutes, or b) the AutoCAD simply crashing.

We use 'Enabled with copy' as the setting for Xrefs.

Any ideas?

Can the problem be replicated at will, all the time, with all files that are open by others?
Or is it sporadic? or limited to a certain set of files?

Not all files. We have just ramdomly tried a few projects until we made it happen.
