AutoCAD LT 2012 Polyline Vertex X and Y into a variable

Is there a way to programmatically get a 2D polyline's Vertex X, and Vertex Y using Diesel? These coordinates may be found in the properties palette while a polyline is selected.  I'm trying to write a macro that saves a user's polyline selection point, via the Lastpoint system variable, then programmaticaly gets the X, & Y vertex of that polyline.

Alternately the LIST command contains these points, but how may I save the LIST command results in a variable, then parse them for the last x, y, and save them in a variable.  Reading the coordinates and typing them is not an option.

Please note: AutoCAD LT 2012 can't use LISP.

You need full AutoCAD.

LT has ID command, use it to generate the LASTPOINT variable, and store it in one of the "USERxx" variables. Repeat as needed, then recall all those "USERxx" variable back. A lot of steps I suspect.
