I am trying to install the update #2 for Autocad LT 2010.
I ran the update from the autocad ballon and I got an error.
I got a message to restart the computer. I did and i had a message i had to manually install.
I downloaded the correct update file (autocadlt2010update2x64.exe) and when I run I have error 1328.
Says "error applying patch to file C:\Config.Msi\PTE1B3.tmp. It has probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this patch."
Restore your Computer to prior to this recent update attempt.
Try the update again.
Make sure you have the correct version for your software language and OS.

That's an installer issue. The installer prog found a file it's supposed to update that is a different size than the one it is expecting.
Most of the time there are 3 options ... Abort ... Retry ... Ignore. If you select Ignore it will / should continue and install the product update. Usually. But then this is AutoDORK so you can never really tell what's gonna happen. YMMV

I have only 2 options: retry or cancel.
Guess I have to uninstall and install it again.
Okay, bad news.
I uninstalled autocad and installed it omce again.
I pasted my old activation code I got in the email and didnt work. Had to make my second activation directly from server.
Tried to do the update again and the same error!
